Montgomery County Community College is partnering with Aldersgate, a private, non-profit social services agency based in Willow Grove, to host a discussion on issues surrounding drug and alcohol abuse.
The program will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 12:20-1:30 p.m. in College Hall room 147 at the College’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, and will be simulcast to South Hall room 213 at the West Campus, 101 College Drive, Pottstown. The program is free and is open to the public.
The information discussed will include how to identify a drug or alcohol problem, where to get free and confidential help, how to handle peer pressure, the effect of alcohol and drugs on the brain, and the current Pennsylvania laws pertaining to underage drinking and driving under the influence.
