SSRT Hosts Program for Veterans, Families About Stressors and Support

Montgomery County Community College’s Student Support and Referral Team (SSRT) in partnership with the Montgomery County Vet Center will host the program “Stressors Affecting Veterans and Their Loved Ones and Available Resources” on Wednesday, March 7, at 7 p.m. in the South Hall Community Room, 101 College Drive, Pottstown. The community is invited to this free program.

Montgomery County Vet Center Readjustment Counseling Therapist Allison M. Stanco, MS, LPC, and Outreach Worker Bradley Herron, who is also a College alumnus and an Iraq/Afghanistan veteran, will present the program. The topics include a returning veteran’s story, post-traumatic stress disorder, military sexual trauma and the Vet Center’s services, followed by a question and answer session.
