by Diane VanDykeMontgomery County Community College will be showcasing the work of its art faculty members and selected alumni at its annual exhibition which opens Nov. 28 and continues through Dec. 16 at the Fine Arts Center Gallery, Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.
More than 40 full and part-time faculty members and about 35 art alumni are invited to participate in the exhibition and sale. A special “Meet the Artists” reception will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The show and reception are free of charge and open to the public. The Fine Arts Center Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The exhibition includes a variety of styles and media, including ceramics, sculptures, oil paintings, water colors, drawings, photography and digital arts.
