Montgomery County Community College, in coordination with Whitpain Township, will present “Green Lantern” as a drive-in movie on Friday, Sept. 9 in the Cathcart Road parking lot at the College’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.
The film will begin at dusk, with the parking lot opening to guests at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free with a valid MCCC student ID and is $5 per car for the general public. Concessions will be available for purchase.
In the film, a test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Peter Sarsgaard.
“Green Lantern” is rated PG-13 and runs one hour, 54 minutes.
