The College’s Student International Club invites the community to its Second Annual International Festival on Wednesday, April 20, from 5-9 p.m. at the Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. The rain date is April 26.
The International Club will transform the outside quad area into multi-cultural celebration with various performances by dancers, singers and musicians. Artists will share their artwork at various display tables throughout the quad. Activities include games, raffles, Easter egg decorating and henna tattoos.
Students will have samples of international cuisine at tables representing different countries and will serve food from various local ethnic restaurants.
Throughout the evening, volunteers will accept donations and will raffle gift baskets and prizes to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.
Donations of food, international clothes and prizes are needed. Volunteers, including artists and performers, are welcome.
For more information or to sponsor an activity, contact Gillian Nel, International Club President, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 267-974-0163.
