The College will hold its annual spring Career Expo on Wednesday, April 13 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Physical Education Center at the Central Campus. More than 50 employers representing a wide range of companies and institutions will be on hand to recruit applicants for diverse employment opportunities. In addition, representatives from the College’s Office of Career Services will be available to review and critique resumes.
For the first time, the Career Services will hold series of workshops leading up to the expo. A Job Search Boot Camp will be held on Monday, April 11 from 6-8 p.m. in Advanced Technology Center room 212. Two workshops, Job Search A to Z and Interviewing Skills, will be held on Tuesday, April 12 from 10 a.m.-noon in Advanced Technology Center 314.
Prior to the expo on April 13, career expert and coach Ford R. Myers will give a keynote address from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Science Center room 214 at the Central Campus. Myers is the president of Career Potential, LLC, which helps clients take charge of their careers, find work they love and earn what they deserve. He has been a frequent guest on television and radio programs across the country, and he is author of two books: Get the Job You Want, Even When No One’s Hiring and The Ultimate Career Guide.
