Montgomery County Community College is currently seeking proposals for papers, hands-on labs and roundtables for its 18th Annual Technology and Learning Conference. The conference will take place on Friday, Oct. 5 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the College’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, in Blue Bell, Pa.
The Teaching and Learning Conference provides a forum for participants to share state-of-the-art information technologies, to contribute to a vision of the future of information technology in the academic enterprise, and to exchange ideas and best practices for incorporating technology, security and learning.
This year’s Keynote & Symposium Speaker is Dr. Gardner Campbell, Director of Professional Development and Innovative Initiatives at Virginia Tech, where he also serves as an Associate Professor of English in the Department of English.
If you are excited about the potential for enhancing teaching and learning through technology, submit a proposal to share your insight and learn from others! The deadline to submit proposals is Sept. 14. Proposals can be submitted online at mc3.edu/techday.
The cost of attending the conference for non-MCCC employees is $80 for registrations received by Sept. 23, and $100 for those received after that date. However, as an incentive to present, the conference fee is waived for the primary presenter. The cost includes all conference materials, parking, continental breakfast and lunch.
For full registration information, including step-by-step directions to guide you through the registration process, visit mc3.edu/techday.
